Courses I teach

Statistical Methods in Psychology

Lab Instructor

Hunter College, CUNY

2019 - Present

This computer lab is designed to provide students with a better understanding of statistical concepts through more hands-on experience with real data. Students will learn to use JASP, a powerful statistical software program, to organize, analyze, and present data and to answer research hypotheses. Using computers and web resources students, will see demonstrations of statistical concepts that cannot easily be grasped through lecture alone.

As a lab instructor, I lead the class in going over statistical concepts, demonstrating statistical analysis using SPSS or JASP, and helping students with their lab assignments. The lab allows opportunities to interact with instructor, the lab TA, and classmates in a more informal way that we hope will help students learn actively and will stimulate their curiosity.
