Qihui Xu

I'm Qihui Xu, a postdoctoral researcher in the Computational Neuroscience group at Basque Center on Cognition, Brain and Language (BCBL), where I work alongside Professor James Magnuson. Prior to joining BCBL, I earned my Ph.D. from the City University of New York (CUNY), where I work with Professors Virginia Valian and Martin Chodorow.

My research interests are in language acquisition and processing. I investigate these issues through interdisciplinary approaches, such as computational modeling, corpus analysis, and experimental methods. I am particularly interested in exploring and exploiting new and emerging methods in bringing larger datasets to the modeling of human language learning and processing.
